erly, devoid of a consis- tent prayer life. God wants to hear from His chil- dren. Keep in mind that even Jesus communicated with God. Thus, it would behoove us to fulfill the same standard that Jesus adhered to.
Prayer is also pivotal from the standpoint of develop- ing a rapport with God. In the book of Revelation, it’s revealed that Jesus said, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” The Holy Trinity wants to have a close relationship with every member of “the church.”
The only requirement is that God is provided entrance into your life. This can be accomplished
through consistent, sin- cere prayer. Most of all, prayer is powerful because it displays a reverence for God. When you pray, it’s an acknowledgement that the Everlasting Father is the only one who’s truly capable of fulfilling a need. Overall, it’s hard to ignore the impact of prayer.
It provides a sense of calm, and confidence. Prayer also has power because it’s a way of rever- ing God, following His standards and conjuring a great relationship with Him. When reflecting on the prayer my fiancée administered that eve- ning, I’m grateful because it allowed the two of us to become immersed in the power that comes with praying to God.
