Camp Kurios provides life-changing experiences for youth
For 30 years, Camp Kurios (locat- ed at Beech Springs camp outside Smackover) has served as a life-chang- ing experience for youth across South Arkansas and surrounding states.
Camp Kurios exists to encourage spiritual growth by leading young people to make a decision for Jesus Christ and by leading Christian young people to a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, encourage fellow- ship among young people, develop Christian leadership and strength- en churches in South Arkansas and North Louisiana.
To accomplish these goals, the camp offers three sessions full of activities and Bible lessons that are tailored to the various age groups. From kickball to singing in the tabernacle to camp- fire devotionals, Camp Kurios helps each child draw closer to God as a
result of their time spent at the camp. Children that have completed first through third grades will participate in Kids Camp, which is from June 3 through June 5. Early bird rates are
$60 and go up to $80 after May 13. Children who have completed fourth through seventh grade may participate in Junior Week, from June 5 through June 10. Early bird rates are
$175 and go up to $195 after May 13. Teens who have finished eighth through 12th grades may participate in Senior Week, June 12 through June 18. Early bird rates are $175 and go up
