The City of Calion
has a new Mayor! Though we were sad to see Mayor Karen Evans go, we welcome our new Mayor, Bill Yutzy.
Elected Officials are: Mayor Bill Yutzy, Treasurer Fran Hicks, Recorder Mary E. Martin, Council Members Johnny Peppers, Bill McCorvey, Chris Walker, Bonnie Warwick, Chanel Hicks, Todd Parker, Monique “Susan” Morris and Jo Ann Williams
The Southside Sewer System is up and running after more than 10 years of working on the project.
We are signing papers on our Fun Park Grant and will hopefully be putting in new playground equipment before summer gets here.
Our new Police Officers are Robert Hodges and Kyle Taylor. They are working out well for the City.

City of Norphlet
The City of Norphlet hosts its annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in December of each year, at which time the Citizen of the Year is announced.
The 2018 Citizen of the Year was Mendall Bonsall.

The Norphlet City Council meets the second Monday of each month at 6:00 pm at Norphlet City Hall. City Hall office hours 8:30 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Friday. Norphlet Water, Entergy and Centerpoint Energy payments will be processed at no charge.
