Our Lord Jesus the Christ stretched out his arms of love on the hard wood of the cross that everyone might come within the reach of his saving embrace: Through the Sacrament of Baptism we have each been made one with Christ so that we, reaching forth our hands in love and service, may bring those who do not know the Lord to the knowledge and love of him.
