His people. God wants to protect His children from conflict. So, He gave each person the wits to gauge what’s right and what’s wrong as a means of protecting their well-being.
“God is love and God is sovereign,” Tozer stated. “His love disposes Him to desire our everlasting welfare and His sovereignty enables Him to se-
cure it.”
Proper perspective
In the quest to find your moral compass, avoid coveting the lifestyle of individuals who bask in sin.
Most people know someone who’s enjoying the “good life” due to con- ducting a series of unscrupulous acts.
However, those individ- uals exemplify what the Bible teaches children of God not to be.
Therefore, refrain from yearning for their lifestyle. Ultimately, adhering to the innate moral compass will lead to a happy life filled with God’s blessings.
Finding the moral compass becomes an easier task when being accompanied by a trustworthy person who has the same desire.
David also encourages the followers of God to be steadfast in righteous living because their inheritance shall be forever.

Finding the moral compass becomes an easier task when being accom- panied by a trustworthy person who has the same desire. Regularly being in the presence of another person or group who respects their moral com- pass is an astute practice.
Innate desire to be upstanding
Respect the God-given will to do right. There’s a reason most people hide their wrongdoings — it’s because engaging in immoral acts is the antithesis of normal.
All people are sinners.
For as the Apostle Paul pointed out, “There are none righteous, no, not, one”. But, it would behoove any person to respect the natural desire to abstain from doing wrong. It’s not a happenstance that most people sec- ond-guess or attempt to conceal acts of immorality.
Overall, finding your moral compass takes work. However, God rewards individuals who diligently seek His presence.
Take a chance on God — you can’t go wrong by doing so.
