Everybody’s Antiques expands store, adds dealers
Everybody’s Antiques was e s t a b l i s h e d
in 2010 when Larry Anderson and Roy Watkins purchased the business, which was for- merly Lloyd and Sachs.
“Our goal is to pro- vide affordable antiques, collectibles and gifts in a bright, upbeat atmo- sphere that every- one in the community will enjoy,” said Larry Anderson, president and CEO of Everybody’s Antiques.
In late 2016, Everybody’s Antiques beganexpanding,adding
9,000 square-feet to the store, more than dou- bling the floor space and adding 26 new dealers.
“Currently, we have 47 booths offering a wide variety of 75,000 antique vintage and primitive items including furni- ture, glassware, decor and collectibles, antique to mid-century modern furniture, primitive and farmhouse décor and collectibles, Depression glass, and décor items from the 1800s to the 1970s and more,” Anderson said.
The store expansion will continue into 2017.
“We have 25 more dealer spaces currently avail- able that we expect to be occupied by mid-year,” he said.
Bringing in more deal- ers has greatly expand- ed the variety of mer- chandise offered at Everybody’s Antiques, Anderson said. “Also we have a new dealer that offers a full line of trail- er tires and rims. We offer estate sale services to the entire community and surrounding areas.”
The biggest chal- lenge the store faces is adapting to the chang- ing shopping needs
and habits of the com- munity, Anderson said. “Having a presence on the internet while offer- ing a hands on brick- and-mortar store where customers can touch and feel and evaluate the item before purchasing.”
“By providing a relaxed, organized and upbeat environment for our customers — to do that, we are meeting that challenge,” Anderson said.
