DEER SEASON

• Special youth modern gun deer hunt: Nov. 4-5 and Jan. 6-7
• Modern gun: Nov. 11-Dec. 17 and Dec. 26-28
Bag limit for Zone 12 (which includes Union, Columbia, Ashley, Bradley, Calhoun, Nevada, Dallas, Grant and Drew counties, as well as parts of Lafayette, Hempstead, Clark, Saline, Pulaski, Jefferson and Lincoln counties): Six deer, which may include two bucks with archery, muzzleloader or modern gun; six does with archery, muzzleloader and modern gun combined.

Legal bucks must be button bucks or have at least three points on one side of their rack. No dogs can be used for deer hunting on the Beryl Anthony Lower Ouachita Wildlife Management Area.
QUAIL

• Possession limit: 12

RABBITS
• Sept. 1-Feb. 28

• Possession limit: 16
More information: Rabbits can not be hunted with rifles or handguns larger than .22 caliber rimfire or with muzzleloaders larger than .40 caliber unless a modern gun or muz- zleloader deer, bear or coyote season is open. Rabbits can not be hunted with shotguns using rifled slugs or shot larger than T shot, and up to eight box traps may be used. The traps should have interior dimen- sions of up to 8 inches wide and 10
inches tall.
SQUIRRELS
• May 15-Feb. 28
• Daily limit: 12
• Possession limit: 48
More information: Dogs are allowed in squirrel hunting. Squirrels can not be hunted with rifles or handguns larger than .22 caliber rimfire or with muzzleload- ers larger than .40 caliber unless a modern gun or muzzleloader deer, bear or coyote season is open. Squirrels can not be hunted with shotguns using rifled slugs or shot larger than T shot.
CROWS
• Sept. 1-Feb. 19 (open only Thursdays through Mondays)
• No bag limit.
More information: Crows can not be hunted with rifles or handguns larger than .22 caliber rimfire or with muzzleloaders larger than .40 caliber unless a modern gun or muzzleloading deer, bear or coyote season is open. Crows can not be hunted with shotguns using rifled slugs or shot larger than T shot. Crows can not be hunted over bait.
GRAY FOX, RED FOX, MINK and STRIPED SKUNK

• Bag limit: two per day; no bag limit for striped skunk
More information: Foxes can be taken during daylight hours with archery equipment or any rifle or shotgun ammunition. For mink and striped skunk, use archery equip- ment or firearms no larger than .22 caliber rimfire or shotguns with shot no larger than T shot.
OPOSSUM

BOBCAT

More information: Dogs are allowed to hunt bobcats during the day and are required to hunt at night. Bobcat hunting is also open during turkey season during the day without dogs. Dogs also cannot be used when deer season is open in a zone that restricts the use of dogs. Use archery equip- ment or firearms no larger than .22 caliber rimfire or shotguns with shot no larger than T shot.
COYOTES
• Sunrise July 1-sunset Feb. 28 • No bag limit
More information: Dogs are allowed to hunt coyotes. Coyote hunting also is open during turkey season, but no dogs are allowed. Coyotes may only be taken during the day. Use archery equipment or firearms of any caliber or shotguns with shot no larger than T shot.
RIVER OTTER
• Sunrise Nov. 11-sunset Feb. 28 • Bag limit: two per day

RACCOON
