Junction City is a village in Claiborne and Union Parishes in Louisiana and is the twin city of neighboring Junction City, Arkansas. The population was 582 at the 2010 census. The Union Parish portion of Junction City is part of the Monroe Metropolitan Statistical area.

The City of Norphlet hosts its annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in December of each year, at which time the Citizen of the Year is announced.
The 2015 Citizen of the Year was Jimmy Watts.

The Norphlet City Council meets the second Monday
of each month at 6:00 pm at Norphlet City Hall. City Hall office hours 8:30 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Friday. Norphlet Water, Entergy and Centerpoint Energy payments will be processed at no charge.
