Ready: These school buses now parked in the El Dorado School District's lot on Smith Avenue, will soon be traveling the streets and roads to pick up children in the district. Most students attending public schools in the county will report for their first day of the 2016-17 school year on Aug. 15. Motorists are reminded to be extremely cautious in and near school zones as many first time students will be riding buses as the new school year begins.
